We were thrilled to learn on Friday that our kids have medical appointments scheduled at the US embassy in Manila for the second week of July.  We continue to be grateful that our process is moving as quickly as it has.  We are also very aware that this doesn’t mean smooth sailing from here.  We have friends who were delayed this spring because the embassy had concerns about a minor issue with one of their healthy kids.

 

The big thing working against our kids is their small stature.  This can be a red flag, as can the fact that one of them has tested positive for tuberculosis in the past.  Any indication of TB is always of concern at the embassy.

 

We covet your prayers for our kids, especially over the 9th through the 11th.  If all goes well our family will be united in late July!  We absolutely can not wait.  (Having their beds up and lots of toys in the house is only making waiting harder!)  Thanks for checking in.
